The Nottingham Students’ Partnership is made up of the two university students’ unions in the city. Both NTSU and UoNSU are separate charitable companies, devoted to the educational interests and welfare of our student members. As well as being the recognised representative channel between students, their university and those beyond the campus, Student Union activities span the full breadth of the student experience at university:
ABOUT US
- Supporting student-run societies leading on students’ extra-curricular experience, built around shared interests, hobbies, beliefs and passions
- Providing independent information and advice to support students through casework and advocacy
- Developing and maintaining systems to provide an independent student voice on courses, assessments and facilities, and representing students’ views on areas of national and local interest
- Offering commercial services to shop, eat, and entertain students whilst financially supporting the activity of the wider SU
All of this activity is student-led, with students volunteering their time in part-time roles for their courses, student societies, campaigns and as representatives, and with our elected full-time officers leading the organisation day-to-day representing their fellow students, with the assistance of a board of trustees made up of a mixture of student trustees and experts in relevant fields to support the organisation.

The Nottingham Students’ Partnership is forged in our shared values and complimentary strategic objectives, designed to expand and embed the influence of students in Nottingham. Together, we aim to build relationships with key stakeholders across the city to maximise the opportunity that students have to play in the role of civic discourse and community, and that their valuable and significant contributions are recognised.
